Job Overview

AJS Hotels is renowned for delivering exceptional hospitality experiences, characterized by a welcoming atmosphere and high-quality service. We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to fill the role of Front Desk Agent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring a smooth transition for all visitors.
  • Handle payment processing, issue room keys, and document any exceptions.
  • Verify billing details and make necessary adjustments for guest accounts.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest departures in the system.
  • Anticipate and address guest needs promptly, ensuring satisfaction at all times.
  • Foster positive relationships with guests, enhancing their overall experience.
  • Collaborate with the Housekeeping team to monitor room availability and address guest inquiries.
  • Generate and review daily reports, including credit card authorizations.
  • Provide guests with accurate directions and information about the hotel and surrounding area.
  • Respond to all guest calls and requests, ensuring follow-up for complete satisfaction.
  • Arrange transportation services for guests as needed.
  • Manage cash transactions and maintain the integrity of the cash drawer.
  • Process wake-up call requests and communicate essential guest information to relevant departments.
  • Uphold cleanliness and organization in the work area.
  • Answer department calls promptly, utilizing proper telephone etiquette.
  • Promote a positive atmosphere for all guests approaching the Front Desk.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably within the hospitality sector.
  • Basic proficiency in computer and mathematical skills.
  • Strong professional telephone skills and office management abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
