Key Responsibilities:- Manage all guest arrivals and departures, including check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments.
- Process payments, issue room keys, and document any exceptions.
- Review and adjust guest billing as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of guest departures in our system.
- Anticipate and respond to guest needs promptly, ensuring a positive experience at all times.
- Foster excellent guest relations and address any concerns effectively.
- Collaborate with the housekeeping team to monitor room status and address guest inquiries.
- Generate and review daily operational reports and credit card authorizations.
- Provide guests with directions and local information as needed.
- Handle all guest communications, including calls and requests, ensuring follow-up for satisfaction.
- Coordinate transportation arrangements for guests and visitors.
- Manage cash handling procedures at the start and end of each shift.
- Process various payment methods and provide change as required.
- Record wake-up call requests accurately.
- Communicate essential guest information to relevant departments.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of departmental policies and procedures.
- Resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
- Answer department phone calls promptly, using appropriate etiquette.
- Promote positive interactions with all individuals approaching the front desk.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably within the hospitality sector.
- Basic proficiency in computer and mathematical skills.
- Professional telephone etiquette and office skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
