Hotel Front Desk Agent/ Weekend Shifts Available

We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Front Desk Agent to serve as the friendly and inviting face of our establishment. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests enjoy a comfortable and memorable stay. Your primary responsibilities will include managing reservations, facilitating check-ins, assigning accommodations, addressing guest inquiries, processing payments, and maintaining effective communication with fellow staff members.

As part of the Holiday Inn Express & Suites family, you will play a vital role in enhancing guest experiences while enjoying benefits such as travel discounts at various IHG properties. We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities.

Compensation:

$15 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and check in guests upon arrival
  • Ensure accurate booking and room allocation for guests
  • Adhere to all financial protocols regarding cash and credit transactions
  • Maintain up-to-date records of room availability and pricing
  • Promote hotel services and amenities to enhance guest satisfaction
  • Stay informed about hotel offerings and local attractions
  • Coordinate with housekeeping regarding room status updates
  • Prepare meeting rooms as required
  • Assist guests with information about local businesses and attractions
  • Be prepared to stand for extended periods in a dynamic environment
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred
  • Familiarity with Opera software is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Ability to stand for long periods (up to 8 hours)
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 40 pounds
  • Proficient typing, writing, and listening skills
  • A positive and friendly demeanor is essential
