Our client is a growing HVAC distribution and service company in Spring, Texas. They specialize in providing residential customers in Greater Houston with top-notch services at affordable prices.

Position Overview

This Accounts Payable Specialist role is open due to growth within the Accounting team and offers opportunities for professional growth and development. The successful candidate will oversee the financial accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices for our client.

Responsibilities
  • Receiving, processing, and reconciling bills to complete payments and manage spending.
  • Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other tools.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely payment processing for invoices.
  • Comparing payment conditions, purchase orders, costs, and other expenses.
  • Handling transactions and performing bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining accounts, making entries, and balancing the books.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role.
  • Proficiency with accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Sage.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
