Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Ardent Health. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide direct customer service and front desk assistance to patients and staff, including admitting, registering, scheduling, and verifying insurance.
  • Account Management: Handle customer account transactions, provide customer assistance, and perform cashiering operations, ensuring accurate documentation of posted payments or payment arrangements.
  • Cash Handling: Reconcile daily cash drawer in accordance with cash balance policy and procedure, and complete mini cash reports with minimal posting errors.
  • Work Queues: Complete assigned work queues to ensure timely completion of accounts for billing.
  • Patient Safety: Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety and compliance.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Medical Terminology: Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Experience: One (1) year of previously related experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Associate's Degree in a related field of study
  • Medical Office Experience: Previous medical office experience
  • Certifications: Heart Saver certification
