Medical Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at CSL Plasma. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our blood and plasma products.
Key Responsibilities- Perform procedures for screening and controlling material used in the processing, manufacture, and distribution of blood and plasma products.
- Independently perform lab procedures related to unit and/or donor suitability testing and other assays.
- Perform routine analytical testing using manual and automated methods and procedures; analyze test results against set controls.
- Participate in continuing education and complete maintenance and Quality Control (QC) per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Operate analytical instrumentation and technical laboratory equipment; perform routine maintenance of instruments and equipment.
- Work within current good manufacturing practice (cGMP) guidelines and adhere to all regulatory standards within the lab.
- Follow safety regulations, Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) rules, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Two (2) years of related experience preferred.
- Medical Lab Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT), licensure in the State of Tennessee preferred.
- Associate degree in a chemical, physical, or biological science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution required.
- Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution preferred.
