Laboratory Technician

CSL Plasma is seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing procedures for screening and controlling material used in the processing, manufacture, and distribution of blood and plasma products.
Responsibilities- Perform lab procedures related to unit and/or donor suitability testing and other assays
- Conduct routine analytical testing using manual and automated methods and procedures
- Participate in continuing education to stay up-to-date on the latest laboratory techniques and technologies
- Complete maintenance and Quality Control (QC) per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Operate analytical instrumentation and technical laboratory equipment
- Work within current good manufacturing practice (cGMP) guidelines and adhere to all regulatory standards within the lab
- Follow safety regulations, Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) rules, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Associate degree in a chemical, physical, or biological science, or medical laboratory science from an accredited institution
- Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, clinical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution
- Medical Lab Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT) designation as required by the State of Tennessee preferred
- 2+ years' relevant lab experience preferred or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education
