About the Role

This is a hybrid position that requires regular work inside and outside of a company office. The Senior Commercial Credit Analyst will be responsible for high-level analysis and data expertise, assessing a wide range of factors affecting business profitability, growth, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analysis and Reporting
    • Create, develop, and nurture a trusted advisor atmosphere and brand, becoming ingrained in the business segment operations to anticipate reporting and analytics needs.
    • Design, create, and enhance reports and Tableau dashboards that satisfy stakeholder desires.
    • Identify, analyze, and interpret complex datasets, researching and understanding economic conditions and external events.
  • Meetings and Presentations
    • Attend various meetings to gain relevant knowledge of emerging risks and changes in credit appetites, policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Growth and Improvement
    • Continuously enhance knowledge and skills regarding analytical tools, techniques, and methodologies.
    • Proactively look for opportunities to enhance current analytical capabilities and develop new analysis and reporting to better support Credit Administration and the various Business Segments.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Analytics, or modeling, or reporting.
    • High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Analytics, or modeling, or reporting.
  • Skills
    • Proficient in SAS applications, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
    • Database management experience.
  • Preferred Requirements
    • Experience in Banking and Finance Industry, preferably within credit analysis, underwriting, or credit risk oversight.
    • Experience using Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams).
    • Experience with Business Intelligence software (Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, and SQL).
