Radiologic Technologist, Salem, Variable, On-call Position

To provide diagnostic services in a hospital and/or clinical setting, utilizing diagnostic radiographic equipment and adhering to department policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Performing diagnostic radiological procedures, including routine, emergent, portable, surgical, and fluoroscopic examinations. Utilizing skills and abilities required for the age of the patient served, including image processing and understanding of the current RIS and PACS system. Working under the supervision of a radiologist as needed.
Collaboration with Radiologists:
Participating in film Quality Assurance, exam clarification, and performing ECGs as required. Collaborating with radiologists to ensure high-quality diagnostic services.
Additional Responsibilities:
Providing patient registration and scheduling services, as well as restocking supplies and cleaning. Participating in an on-call or standby schedule as required. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required. Registered Radiologic Technologist (Washington) or Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License (Oregon) required. Basic Life Support certification within one month of hire. Radiologic Technologist Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required at hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience performing general radiographic exams using digital equipment within the last three years. Proficient knowledge of radiology equipment and exams to perform fluoroscopy, DXA, surgery, portable, and routine radiographic exams. Experience with McKesson PACS and EPIC electronic medical records system. Associates degree in Radiologic Science or related field.
