Nuclear Medicine Specialist

Salem Hospital is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team as a traveler. This is a great opportunity for a professional looking to expand their experience and work in a variety of settings.
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Salem Hospital, you will be responsible for performing Nuclear Medicine procedures in compliance with hospital policies and procedures. You will work closely with our team to provide high-quality patient care and ensure that our patients receive the best possible treatment.
Job Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelors or Associates degree in a relevant field and at least one year of experience in Nuclear Medicine. You must also be licensed in Nuclear Medicine with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) and registered with either the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within six months of hire.
Additionally, you will need to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire. You must also be able to operate state-of-the-art Nuclear Medicine gamma cameras, probe, and computer systems, film processors, survey meters, and other technical supportive devices.

Additional Details
Please note that this is not a permanent position, and you will be required to take call/standby after hours. You will also need to provide a clear copy of your driver's license or state ID or passport, as an Accounting Document, and proof of name change if there is a discrepancy.
Education Verification Release/Consent is required for non-licensed providers, PCA, PCT's.
