Join Our Radiology Team

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Salem Hospital, Inc. in a full-time evening shift position. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate imaging equipment, including X-ray machines and fluoroscopy units
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, including disposing of biohazardous waste and cleaning equipment
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care

Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred, but not required
  • Graduates of a formal, accredited Radiologic Technology Training program with required temporary license
  • Satisfactory completion of a formal Radiologic Technology Training program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology
  • Effective communication skills and ability to build rapport with others
  • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Computer proficiency and ability to quickly gain competency in various hospital software applications
  • Required licensure with the Department of Public Health to practice Radiologic Technology in the state of Massachusetts
  • Registration or registration eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists for Radiography
