Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Salem Hospital, Inc. This is a full-time position with a standard schedule of 36 hours per week, with rotating shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic CT procedures at a level of competence not requiring constant supervision to technical detail.
  • Assume responsibility for designated areas, procedures, and students as assigned, variable nights, and some weekend shifts.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements:

  • Effective communication skills and ability to build rapport with others.
  • Organizational skills to work in an efficient and orderly fashion.
  • Ability to function effectively in an emergency situation.
  • Normal or corrected vision for visual safety checks and normal or corrected hearing for safe interaction with patients and medical staff.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous CT experience preferred but not required.
  • Graduates of a formal Radiologic Technology Training program with required license and registration.

Education and Licensure:

  • Satisfactory completion of a formal Radiologic Technology Training program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRC/ERT).
  • Licensure with the MA Department of Public Health to practice Radiology in the state of Massachusetts required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Current Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R).
