We are proud to collaborate with one of the leading companies in human flight technology. As a Flight Software Manager, you will play a pivotal role in steering the flight software team and overseeing the design and implementation of essential flight software and systems.

Key Responsibilities of the Flight Software Manager:

  • Design and develop software for in-flight computers and other vital spacecraft components.
  • Work closely with the Electrical and Hardware teams to ensure smooth integration of software solutions.
  • Lead and mentor the Flight Software team while providing expert technical direction.
  • Recruit and onboard new engineers to expand the team’s capabilities.
  • Configure Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS), microprocessors, and Linux kernels/drivers.
  • Create and execute comprehensive software testing protocols.

Qualifications for the Flight Software Manager:

  • Proficiency in C++ programming and experience in Linux environments (or equivalent experience).
  • Familiarity with hardware datasheets and schematics.
  • Proficient with tools such as Git, Make, and GNU utilities.
  • A degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
