We are proud to collaborate with one of the leading companies in human flight technology. As a Flight Software Manager, you will play a pivotal role in steering the flight software team and overseeing the design and implementation of essential flight software and systems.
Key Responsibilities of the Flight Software Manager:
- Design and develop software for in-flight computers and other vital spacecraft components.
- Work closely with the Electrical and Hardware teams to ensure smooth integration of software solutions.
- Lead and mentor the Flight Software team while providing expert technical direction.
- Recruit and onboard new engineers to expand the team’s capabilities.
- Configure Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS), microprocessors, and Linux kernels/drivers.
- Create and execute comprehensive software testing protocols.
Qualifications for the Flight Software Manager:
- Proficiency in C++ programming and experience in Linux environments (or equivalent experience).
- Familiarity with hardware datasheets and schematics.
- Proficient with tools such as Git, Make, and GNU utilities.
- A degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
