Veterinary University Engagement Specialist
Remote

We are seeking a dedicated professional to enhance our outreach and engagement with veterinary schools and universities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and nurture connections with university faculty, particularly those involved in Student Affairs and House Officer programs.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of outreach initiatives aimed at promoting Veritas within academic institutions.
  • Recruit and mentor student ambassadors at accredited universities to advocate for Veritas's programs, including summer internships and post-graduate training opportunities.
  • Ensure adherence to university policies regarding student recruitment and event planning.
  • Design and deliver engaging presentations for recruitment events on campus.
  • Conduct initial interviews with students and residents interested in internship and employment opportunities within the Veritas network.
  • Create promotional materials to effectively communicate Veritas's offerings to students.
  • Plan and coordinate on-campus recruitment events, managing logistics such as venue selection and budget oversight.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and the VP of Talent Acquisition to provide updates on outreach activities and future initiatives.
  • Represent Veritas at veterinary conferences, assisting with booth management and candidate engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records of student interactions and recruitment efforts.
  • Contribute to the content on Veritas's websites and social media to promote recruiting events.
Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree required.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and public speaking abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Adobe and database software is advantageous.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to Veritas's Candidate Management System.
  • Ability to travel frequently, particularly during peak recruitment seasons.
  • Understanding of the veterinary industry's current landscape and challenges.
  • Knowledge of marketing principles to develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks independently and collaboratively.
