Key Responsibilities:- Establish and nurture connections with university faculty, particularly those involved in Student Affairs and House Officer programs.
- Lead the creation and implementation of outreach initiatives aimed at universities on behalf of Veritas.
- Recruit and mentor student ambassadors from accredited universities, facilitating the promotion of various programs such as summer internships and clinical externships.
- Ensure adherence to university policies regarding recruitment and student engagement activities.
- Design and deliver educational presentations for recruitment events held on campus.
- Conduct initial interviews with students and residents interested in internship and employment opportunities within the Veritas network.
- Create promotional materials to effectively advertise Veritas and its partner practices on campus.
- Organize and manage logistics for recruitment events, including venue selection, budgeting, and attendee follow-up.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and the VP of Talent Acquisition to report on outreach activities and gather insights for future initiatives.
- Represent Veritas at veterinary conferences, assisting with booth setup and engaging with potential candidates.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and recruitment efforts.
- Contribute to the content on Veritas and partner practice websites and social media to promote recruitment events.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree required.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Adobe and database software is advantageous.
- Willingness to learn Veritas's Candidate Management System.
- Ability to travel frequently, depending on seasonal demands.
- Understanding of the veterinary industry's current landscape and challenges.
- Knowledge of marketing principles to enhance recruitment strategies.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks independently and collaboratively.
