The Nursing Assistant Registered (NAR) is a vital member of our healthcare team at Guardian Angels. As a NAR, you will provide respectful, resident-centered care and assistance to our residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct personal care to residents at their assessed level of function under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
- Implement Restorative/Maintenance nursing programs as developed by Nursing Rehabilitation.
- Accurately document cares provided, resident observations, and progress.
- Assist residents to achieve their highest level of physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and spiritual function.
- Contribute to a dignified, respectful, resident-centered environment for residents.
- Follow universal precautions, facility infection control guidelines, sanitation, and safety standards of practice in all work and activities.
- Perform all duties in accordance with current standards, guidelines, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality as required by Guardian Angels policy and procedure and as related to HIPPA.
- Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Guardian Angels.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Currently registered as a Nursing Assistant with the Minnesota Nursing Assistant registry.
- Prior nursing experience is preferred.
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Self-motivated, ability to prioritize.
