Job Summary:

The Nursing Assistant Registered (NAR) is a vital member of our care team, providing respectful and resident-centered care to our residents. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care and assistance to our residents, under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct personal care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities.
  • Develop and implement restorative and maintenance nursing programs to promote resident independence and well-being.
  • Accurately document resident care and observations, ensuring timely and effective communication with the care team.
  • Collaborate with the care team to create a dignified and respectful environment for residents, promoting their physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and spiritual well-being.
  • Follow universal precautions, facility infection control guidelines, and sanitation and safety standards to ensure a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff.
Requirements:
  • Current registration as a Nursing Assistant with the Minnesota Nursing Assistant registry.
  • Prior nursing experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold the mission, vision, and values of Guardian Angels.
  • Self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
