Position Overview:
As a Clinical Staff Pharmacist, you will be responsible for evaluating and processing medication orders for inpatients, outpatients, and staff, while maintaining accurate computerized medication profiles. You may operate within a centralized or decentralized pharmacy model, collaborating with physicians and healthcare professionals as necessary. Your role will include monitoring patient medication therapies for safety and efficacy, as well as providing drug information. Additionally, you will oversee support staff and coordinate departmental activities to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of pharmacy services. In the absence of the pharmacy manager, you may assume their essential responsibilities.

Key Qualifications:
  1. Active District of Columbia Pharmacist license is mandatory.
  2. Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
  3. Preferred: 1-2 years of experience in a hospital pharmacy environment or completion of a pharmacy practice residency.
  4. Experience in sterile compounding is highly desirable.
  5. Current CPR certification is required.
Work Schedule: Full-Time, Rotating Shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Compensation: Salary ranges from a minimum of 55.74 to a maximum of 91.92 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
