Clinical Pharmacist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist II to join our team at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, effective, and cost-efficient medication management.
- Provide pharmaceutical care services, including medication therapy management, patient education, and medication reconciliation.
- Participate in educational programs to enhance knowledge and skills in pharmacy practice.
- Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff, as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Doctoral degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college or university.
- PGY-1 or 3 years of direct patient care experience in a hospital setting.
- PHARMD - Licensed Pharmacist in Washington, DC.
- Board certification within one year of eligibility.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Competitive salary range: $118,331 - $218,171.
