Job Overview

The Senior Culinary Supervisor plays a crucial role in the preparation and cooking of meals, adhering to established recipes and production standards while ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation protocols. Compensation Information

The hourly wage for this role ranges from $20.00 to $24.00, influenced by factors such as the applicant's qualifications, relevant certifications, previous experience, and market trends. Additional compensation may include bonuses or commissions where applicable. This represents Aramark's good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position at the time of posting.

Upon hiring, the employee will be considered in an "at-will position," and Aramark reserves the right to adjust base salary and other compensation elements at any time and for any reason, including performance-related factors.

Key Responsibilities


• Organizes and delegates daily tasks to kitchen staff, ensuring timely completion.

• Provides training and support to staff on their duties, food safety standards, and cooking techniques.

• Prepares and cooks meals according to established guidelines and recipes.

• Sets up the kitchen station with necessary ingredients and tools.

• Measures, weighs, and prepares food items by chopping, trimming, and mixing.

• Utilizes kitchen utensils safely, including knives.

• Operates cooking equipment such as ovens, stoves, and mixers.

• Employs various cooking methods including baking, roasting, and steaming.

• Arranges and garnishes dishes according to presentation standards.

• Ensures proper food storage in compliance with safety policies.

• Maintains cleanliness of work areas, tools, and equipment.

• Upholds excellent customer service standards with a positive demeanor towards guests and colleagues.

• Adheres to Aramark's safety protocols, particularly in food handling and sanitation.

• Safeguards company assets and resources.

• Develops work schedules and may maintain production records.

Qualifications


• Previous supervisory experience in a culinary role is preferred.

• Experience as a cook or in a similar position is required.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is essential.

• Strong understanding of food preparation principles, cooking methods, and safety regulations.

• Food safety certification is mandatory.

• Basic math and counting skills are necessary.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.

This position may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, and prolonged standing. Uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
