Responsibilities:

Position Summary:
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will serve as an individual contributor and subject matter expert in Quality Engineering. You will be responsible for providing Quality Engineering support for quality investigations, risk management, engineering studies, specifications, projects, and supplier quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize standard engineering methodologies to design, analyze, test, maintain, repair, or enhance products, components, materials, manufacturing processes, and quality systems.
  • Conduct investigations into nonconformances to identify root causes, assess quality impacts, and implement corrective/preventive measures.
  • Employ statistical techniques to analyze quality data, develop sampling plans, and assess the effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Implement design specifications for products, materials, and components at the site level.
  • Establish and maintain risk management documentation for manufacturing, quality systems, and data flow processes.
  • Create protocols, execute studies, and report findings related to quality engineering.
  • Lead or assist in the execution of project assignments.
  • Provide support for supplier quality, including investigations and qualifications of suppliers and materials.
  • Develop expertise as a subject matter expert in quality systems and manufacturing processes.
The responsibilities outlined are not exhaustive and may include additional tasks as assigned by the department manager.

Qualifications:

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 02-04 years of relevant experience.
  • Occasional business travel may be required, along with a valid driver's license and passport.
  • Ability to work non-standard hours as necessary.
Desired:
  • Preferred industry/professional certification.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit and communicate effectively. The employee frequently uses hands for handling or feeling and reaching with hands and arms. Occasionally, the employee may need to stand and walk, and must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
