Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team at JBT Corporation. As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products by performing inspections, testing, and evaluating materials and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections of incoming parts, subassemblies, and assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Support the production area with first-piece inspection and final inspection
  • Provide detailed inspection reports to the Quality Assurance Supervisor, Process Engineering, and other departments as required
  • Interface with Process Engineering on quality-related issues to resolve defects
  • Interface with other departments as required, including purchasing, planning, and engineering
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Three years' experience in the use of inspection equipment, such as calipers, indicators, micrometers, CMM, hardness testers, and general inspection equipment
  • Minimum three years' experience in machine shop and fabrication shop
  • Proficient in blueprint reading
  • Preferred: Five years' experience in machine and fabrication shop, including welding, sheet metal, and assembly
  • Preferred: Five years' experience in blueprint interpretation to Y14.5 requirements
