Summary
CHRISTUS Health is seeking three dedicated faculty members to enhance our Department of Pediatrics, specifically within the Section of Gastroenterology. We are looking for professionals specializing in General Pediatric Gastroenterology, Advanced Endoscopy, and Motility Disorders. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical care for pediatric patients, both in outpatient and inpatient settings, addressing a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders.
- Conduct general GI procedures, including upper endoscopy and colonoscopy, along with associated therapeutic interventions.
- Engage in the education and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows in the field of Gastroenterology.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives through the Voelker Clinical Research Center, supporting faculty interested in advancing their research careers.
Qualifications:
- M.D., Ph.D. / M.D. / D.O. degree, or equivalent qualifications.
- Completion of an ACGME accredited fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology or equivalent training.
- Active medical license from the Texas Medical Board.
- Board Certification by the American Board of Pediatrics, with subspecialty certification in pediatric gastroenterology (or eligibility for certification).
