Summary

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver clinical care encompassing both outpatient and inpatient services, including consultative care and general GI procedures.
- Engage in the education and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows in the field of Gastroenterology.
- Provide outpatient care for pediatric patients with a variety of gastrointestinal, hepatic, pancreatic, and nutritional conditions.
- Conduct inpatient consultations and emergency assessments for pediatric patients facing gastrointestinal challenges.
- Perform standard pediatric gastrointestinal procedures, such as upper endoscopies and colonoscopies, along with related therapeutic interventions.
Qualifications:
- M.D., Ph.D. / M.D. / D.O. degree, or equivalent.
- Completion of an ACGME accredited fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology (or equivalent).
- Current licensure by the Texas Medical Board.
- Board Certification by the American Board of Pediatrics, with subspecialty certification in pediatric gastroenterology (or eligibility for certification).
