About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Research Scientist to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our analytics team, you will play a critical role in unlocking the secrets of complex health data and developing evidence-based strategies to drive positive change.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research in behavioral health and develop data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data analysis projects, leveraging statistical techniques and data visualization tools.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing expert guidance on behavioral health data analysis and interpretation.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and methodologies in behavioral health, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our work.
  • Communicate complex data insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders, using clear and compelling storytelling techniques.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in behavioral research science, with a strong background in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to apply these skills to complex data sets.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance, with a willingness to undergo a security investigation.
  • Bachelor's degree in a Behavioral Science, Psychology, Sociology, Statistics, or Counseling field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and data visualization tools, with experience in applying these skills to large datasets.
  • Understanding of the DoD behavioral health challenges, including those affecting Service members and their families.
