Job Title: Manager, Walk to End Alzheimer's - Aloha Chapter

As a key member of the Alzheimer's Association team, you will play a critical role in leading the implementation of Walk to End Alzheimer's, the world's largest fundraiser for Alzheimer's care, support, and research. This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your expertise in fundraising, community engagement, and volunteer management to drive success and achieve revenue goals.

About the Role

This role is responsible for cultivating key community connections, driving revenue growth, and building sustainable volunteer committees. You will work closely with the Development Director to develop and implement strategies to engage community and corporate leaders, and to build a positive, healthy, and inclusive team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cultivate and steward event teams, sponsors, and participants to achieve revenue goals
  • Develop and implement strategies to engage community and corporate leaders
  • Build and empower sustainable volunteer committees
  • Manage multiple volunteer-led mass-market events simultaneously
  • Utilize data to inform decision-making and drive positive outcomes
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to achieve shared goals
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in fundraising, community engagement, and volunteer management
  • Confident, goal-oriented, and positive self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and collaboratively with internal and external partners
  • Valid driver's license, access to reliable vehicle, and good driving record
