As a Regulatory Compliance Specialist, your role will encompass the following responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations related to serialized components.
  • Authorize firearm orders in compliance with state regulations and verify dealers' Federal Firearms licenses.
  • Complete and submit all required NFA Forms (2, 3, 5, 9) and 4473s in accordance with federal and state laws.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Engineering teams for demonstrations to agencies and manage internal transfers.
  • Adjust inventory and maintain accurate records for acquisitions, dispositions, and scrapped firearms.
  • Report lost, missing, or stolen firearms to the ATF.
  • Engage with ATF, team members, and industry professionals to fulfill regulatory obligations and ensure compliance with GCA and NFA regulations.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to environmental health and safety principles, policies, and procedures.
  • Contribute to the company's continuous improvement efforts in safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
  • Uphold the company's standards of integrity, safety, and a positive work environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Support Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of compliance controls and operational processes.
  • Monitor business activities to ensure adherence to applicable regulations.
  • Maintain effective communication within the Compliance Department.
  • Respond promptly to requests from the Contracts and Compliance Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with ATF compliance laws and regulations is preferred.
  • High School Diploma with a minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, ideally in a compliance-focused role or a combination of relevant experience and education.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent record-keeping abilities; must ensure accuracy in verifying serial numbers and other critical data.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to apply them effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and proactively with team members.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly.
  • Strong time management skills, self-motivated, and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with company officials, employees, vendors, and customers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
  • Demonstrated commitment to the company's core values.
  • Willingness to assist in other departments or shifts as needed.
  • Must maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Requires standing, walking, sitting, and bending throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to machinery, noise, and chemicals.
  • Must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment as required.
