Position Summary

The Corporate Affairs Coordinator will deliver administrative support to various offices and manufacturing sites while assisting Korean expatriates assigned from headquarters. This role encompasses the management of the Company’s Vehicle Leasing Program for managerial staff, organizing special events for distinguished visitors, and overseeing the Outstanding Team Member Recognition Program. Additionally, the incumbent will handle International Travel arrangements, compose newsletters for management, and collaborate with the Human Resources Department on daily tasks and annual initiatives. This position is integral to the operations of MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC.

ABOUT MOBIS NORTH AMERICA ELECTRIFIED POWERTRAIN, LLC

MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain LLC (MNAe) serves as a Tier 1 supplier of Battery System Assembly (BSA) and Power Electronics (PE) systems, which are essential components in the production of electric vehicles, utilizing cutting-edge manufacturing technologies.

Key Responsibilities (To excel in this role, the incumbent must effectively perform the following duties. Additional responsibilities may be assigned.)

  • Oversee the office environment and manage office supplies and equipment across all locations, including printers, water dispensers, and coffee machines.
  • Procure both routine and non-routine office supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and managing maintenance requests.
  • Foster strong relationships with vendors and negotiate to expand supplier options.
  • Design and manage the Company’s Internal Travel Program for all employees, coordinating with relevant departments to ensure timely payment of travel invoices.
  • Administer the Vehicle Leasing Program, assisting managerial staff with vehicle orders, registrations, and timely invoice payments.
  • Contribute to annual business planning, submit requests for travel budget expenses, and monitor expenditures using SAP systems.
  • Support the Human Resources Department in organizing new and recurring events.
  • Prepare the work environment for new hires, including name tags, drawer keys, and badges.
  • Assist managers by documenting VIP visits and tours, as well as participating in the Outstanding Team Member Recognition Program.
  • Manage documentation in accordance with corporate information security policies.
  • Coordinate with incoming Korean expatriates to facilitate housing, utilities, social security, driver’s licenses, and school admissions for their children.
  • Provide on-call support to Korean expatriates as necessary.
  • Assist with logistics for expatriates and their families during their return to Korea.
  • HR Administration Services may be provided to nearby Hyundai MOBIS Affiliates in North America as needed.

Basic Qualifications(The following qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this position.)


Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, or a related field.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in HR Administration and departmental budgeting.
  • Prior experience in a dynamic industrial manufacturing setting.

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Ability to develop, implement, and manage strategic initiatives.
  • Goal-oriented, customer-focused, and results-driven mindset.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management abilities.

  • Familiarity with Vehicle Leasing Programs.
  • Knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems, with SAP experience preferred.
  • Ability to multitask, engage in active learning, and implement processes effectively.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous.
