Job Overview

Position Summary

The Corporate Affairs Coordinator will deliver administrative support to various office locations and assist expatriates from the headquarters. This role encompasses managing the Company's Vehicle Leasing Program for senior management, organizing special events for distinguished visitors, and overseeing the Outstanding Team Member Recognition Program. Additionally, the incumbent will facilitate international travel arrangements, compose newsletters for management, and collaborate with the Human Resources Department on daily operations and annual initiatives.

MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain LLC (MNAe) serves as a premier supplier of Battery System Assembly (BSA) and Power Electronics (PE) systems, essential components in the production of electric vehicles, leveraging cutting-edge manufacturing technologies.

Key Responsibilities (To excel in this role, the incumbent must effectively perform the following duties. Additional responsibilities may be assigned.)

  • Oversee the office environment and manage office supplies and equipment across all locations.
  • Procure routine and specialized office supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and maintenance of facilities.
  • Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships while expanding supplier options.
  • Design and manage the Company's Internal Travel Program, coordinating with relevant departments for timely payment of travel invoices.
  • Administer the Vehicle Leasing Program, assisting senior management with vehicle orders, registrations, and timely invoice payments.
  • Participate in annual business planning, submitting requests for travel budgets and monitoring expenditures using SAP systems.
  • Support the Human Resources Department in organizing new and recurring events.
  • Prepare the work environment for new hires, including name tags and access badges.
  • Assist management during VIP visits and tours, and contribute to the Outstanding Team Member Recognition Program.
  • Manage documentation in accordance with corporate information security policies.
  • Coordinate with incoming expatriate team members to facilitate housing, utilities, and necessary documentation.
  • Provide on-call support to expatriates as required.
  • Assist with logistics for expatriates and their families upon their return to their home country.
  • HR Administration Services may be provided to nearby Hyundai MOBIS Affiliates in North America as needed.

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in HR Administration and departmental budgeting.
  • Experience in a dynamic industrial manufacturing setting.

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Capability to develop, implement, and manage strategic initiatives.
  • Goal-oriented, customer-focused, and results-driven mindset.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Vehicle Leasing Programs.
  • Knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems, with SAP experience preferred.
  • Adept at multitasking, active learning, and process implementation.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous.

  • Experience in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Positive attitude and adaptability to changing priorities.

Working Conditions:

  • Home office setup with required flexibility for commuting between locations during work hours.
  • Office environment with occasional responsibilities at plant sites and external locations.
