About the Job

The Aftermarket Supervisor will be responsible for managing a team of technicians, ensuring maximum up-time of equipment, and identifying potential sales opportunities. This role requires a strong technical background, with experience in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, as well as software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage direct reports, set goals and expectations, and develop training opportunities to align with their career goals and business needs.
  • Interface with customers to support troubleshooting efforts, provide remote support, and develop costing for preventive maintenance proposals.
  • Coordinate problem resolution with engineering, customer service, and other personnel to enhance or correct design, and/or expedite repairs.
  • Provide remote and on-site technical assistance to technicians and customers to assist maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment.
  • Analyze reports of technical problems to determine trends affecting future design, production, service, and maintenance processes, and recommends modifications to eliminate future problems.
  • Manage resources in support of service jobs, planned and emergent maintenance trips, and training.
Requirements
  • Relevant Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school plus 8 years automated systems experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely and methodical manner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interface with customers and colleagues in a diplomatic and professional manner.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational and time management skills.
