Job Summary:

As a skilled Obstetrician and Gynecologist, you will provide comprehensive care to women throughout their lives, from adolescence to senior care. Our Shoreview Clinic offers a unique blend of services, including well visits, preventive screenings, breast health, genetic services, and more. You will work collaboratively with patients to improve their health and well-being, practicing in a thoughtful manner that considers cultural diversity, individual autonomy, and legal responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to women, specializing in areas of general medicine, the reproductive system, pregnancy, and childbirth.
• Review patient medical history, collecting and prioritizing comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
• Work collaboratively with patients to improve their health and well-being.
• Practice in a thoughtful manner, considering cultural diversity, individual autonomy, and legal responsibilities.
• Actively participate in multidisciplinary team approach to case management.
• Utilize quality improvement tools to develop processes that promote continuous improvement in delivery of patient care, patient outcomes, or workflows.

Practice Details:

• Our team consists of 53 OBGYNs, 21 OB hospitalists, 13 Clinical Nurse Midwives, 11 Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists, and 2 fetal interventionalists.
• We have 8 labor and delivery locations, with 13,800 deliveries per year.
• Our clinics offer nursing support programs, after-hours answering service support, and more.
• We have a quaternary hospital, Abbott Northwestern, with a Level IV NICU, and tertiary hospitals with Level III NICUs.

Requirements:

• MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training required.
• BE/BC with ABMS or AOA within Obstetrics and Gynecology upon hire.
• Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges, if applicable.
• BLS Tier - required within 6 months of hire.
