Role Overview
As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with their DevSecOps transformation and maximizing product utilization through direct customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to establish a Statement of Work aimed at achieving measurable outcomes while maintaining a 70% billable utilization rate.
- Implement solutions on both on-premises and cloud environments using tools such as Terraform and Ansible, adhering to our established reference architectures.
- Facilitate migrations from existing systems to GitLab using our proprietary tools.
- Offer consulting services on DevOps and DevSecOps best practices, leveraging internal frameworks like DGF and GitLab Flow.
- Mentor Associate and Intermediate Solutions Engineers, guiding them in their technical growth and helping to eliminate obstacles to their independence.
- Oversee multiple projects, serving either as the primary engineer or as a lead providing guidance to other Solutions Engineers.
What You Bring
- Proven ability to articulate complex technical and organizational challenges clearly and propose comprehensive iterative solutions.
- Experience in consulting and driving successful outcomes for clients.
- Familiarity with deploying solutions in both on-premises and cloud settings using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Demonstrated capability to independently manage one or more projects.
- Experience with GitLab, including deployment and configuration.
- Ability to anticipate client needs and view engagements from a broader perspective, beyond individual tasks.
