Position: Senior Pega Solutions Architect

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architectural Leadership: Spearhead the design and execution of Pega-based solutions, ensuring they meet scalability and performance standards while delivering high-quality results that satisfy client expectations.
  • Technical Excellence: Establish and promote best practices, frameworks, and methodologies for the development and implementation of Pega solutions.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with senior stakeholders and clients to define technical strategies, project scopes, and objectives, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Team Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to a team of system architects, overseeing the design, configuration, testing, and delivery of intricate solutions.
  • Performance Optimization: Lead initiatives in performance tuning and system optimization to ensure the efficiency and robustness of Pega solutions in production.
  • Decision-Making Participation: Contribute to high-level decision-making processes, offering expert advice on scope management and technical problem-solving.
  • Innovation Drive: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends within the Pega ecosystem, applying this knowledge to enhance client solutions.
  • Workshop Facilitation: Conduct workshops and meetings with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication of technical concepts and project updates.
  • Lifecycle Oversight: Manage the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and support, ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Strategic Contribution: Provide thought leadership and identify new opportunities for the growth of Stratosphere Technical Consulting.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Over 8 years of progressive experience in developing and implementing enterprise-level business solutions, particularly with Pega.
  • Extensive knowledge of Pega architecture, design, and implementation, with hands-on experience in large-scale projects.
  • Advanced understanding of Object-Oriented principles and experience leading teams in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide a team of architects and developers.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of engaging effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Pega certifications, including Pega Certified System Architect (CSA), Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA), and Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA), are preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in specific industry or functional domains.
  • Experience in Intelligent Automation and/or Customer Engagement.
  • Prior experience in consulting or client services delivery.

Work Environment:

This is a remote position, allowing flexibility to work from anywhere in the United States, with occasional domestic travel to meet clients as necessary.
