Position: Lead Pega Solutions Architect

Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the BPM technology strategy and foundational capabilities within the EAE BPM COE.
  • Focus on standardizing BPM platforms, reusing assets, ensuring delivery excellence, and minimizing total cost of ownership for process automation.
  • Act as the Lead System Architect, implementing technical solutions on the Pega platform.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of the Pega 8 / Infinity platform, demonstrating hands-on experience in solution architecture and complete application design.
  • Provide insights on project-related technical issues, including development methodologies and technical specifications.
  • Take full responsibility for development tasks.
  • Estimate development efforts and provide sizing metrics.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to clarify and establish requirements.
  • Engage in Backlog refinement and Sprint Planning activities.
  • Guide client stakeholders and leadership on the design, implementation, and support of knowledge management solutions, architecture, and hands-on Pega development.
  • Design multi-tier scalable enterprise applications adhering to Pega Guardrails.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of hands-on Pega experience in delivering large-scale, complex solutions.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively discuss and comprehend various business processes.
  • Expertise in Pega 8, Pega PRPC guardrails, and a solid understanding of all Pega PRPC features.
  • Deep knowledge of Enterprise class structure, intricate workflows, and design patterns.
  • Experience with PEGA PRPC, including Process Flows, Activities, Harness, Sections, Decision Tables, Data transforms, Agents, and Reporting.
  • Familiarity with PEGA DCO to assist Business Analysts in the DCO process.
  • In-depth knowledge of Pega Upgrades, Server Configurations, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Hands-on experience throughout the entire PRPC lifecycle: design, development, coding, testing, and debugging in PEGA 7.x & 8.x.
  • Proficient in PRPC Integration with external systems in an enterprise context.
  • Knowledgeable in Estimation, Performance Tuning, and Deployment processes.
  • At least CSA Certification is required; CSSA certification is advantageous.
  • Experience in Client Life Cycle Management (CLM) is a significant plus.
  • Top three essential skill sets include: Java, Agile methodologies, and SQL.
