Job Location: Remote

Position Overview: The Senior Pega Solutions Architect will play a pivotal role in the design, architecture, and development of applications built on the Pega platform. This individual will spearhead projects and offer technical mentorship to less experienced developers. A profound expertise in Pega PRPC (Pega Rules Process Commander) tools is essential, as well as the ability to guide the design and implementation of Pega solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and develop robust, efficient, and maintainable Pega applications.
  • Adopt and enforce best practices in Pega architecture, design, and coding methodologies.
  • Collaborate closely with business analysts and team members to grasp business requirements and convert them into effective Pega solutions.
  • Lead the technical team throughout project lifecycles, providing mentorship and support to junior developers.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to application quality, coding standards, UI standards, and corporate guidelines.
  • Ensure that system capacity, performance, and recovery processes are adequately established.
  • Diagnose and resolve intricate technical challenges.
  • Prepare and maintain necessary technical documentation.
  • Oversee the deployment of Pega updates, integrations, and new development initiatives.
  • Stay updated on Pega technologies and best practices, sharing insights with the team.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Pega version 8.x.
  • Certification as a Lead System Architect (LSA) is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in scaling and integrating Pega systems.
  • Strong grasp of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
  • Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services.
  • Knowledge of database design and SQL.
