Position Summary:
The Culinary Service Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate preparation of meal service stations. This position involves the thorough cleaning and sanitization of kitchenware, including pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. Additionally, the associate contributes to maintaining the overall cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen environment. Responsibilities may extend to service in both hospital facilities. Other related tasks may be assigned as necessary.
Qualifications and Experience:
A High School Diploma or GED is preferred. A minimum of six months of relevant experience is advantageous.
Skills and Competencies:
Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is essential. Ability to comprehend and execute both written and verbal instructions is required. Must be able to distinguish colors and possess adequate hearing to safely perform job responsibilities. Capability to operate standard kitchen equipment safely is necessary. The role requires the ability to work independently.
Certifications:
A Food Handler's Certification from the relevant health department is mandatory within the initial days of employment. Preferred candidates may hold a SafeServ Managers certification, which supersedes the Food Handler's certificate.
