Job Summary and Qualifications

Conducts all cardiac ultrasound examinations, which include, but are not limited to, M-Mode with calculations, two-dimensional procedures with all necessary views, Doppler echocardiograms with analysis of all information, data, and color flow assessments.

In addition to ultrasound studies, the candidate will be capable of performing other cardiac evaluations as required. If this describes you, come be a part of what makes us exceptional and apply today.

Qualifications:
Minimum of one year performing echocardiograms, including M-Mode, 2D, color flow imaging, and Doppler, on adults
Experience with pediatric echocardiograms preferred
Experience with transesophageal echocardiograms preferred
Certification from a professional institution in the field of non-invasive cardiology preferred
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) issued by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
OR Registered Cardiovascular Sonographer (RCS) issued by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
OR be Registry eligible, in which case technicians must obtain registry within one (1) year of hire
Understanding of cardiac arrhythmias

Knowledge of Cardiology, including:
Normal and abnormal anatomy, both adult and pediatric Normal and abnormal cardiac function and hemodynamics, for both adult and pediatric
Current BCLS certification

Riverside Community Hospital is a large acute care facility with 517 beds, established in 1901.

It features the most extensive Emergency Room and Level I Trauma Center in the Inland Empire region and is the primary recipient of STEMI (heart attack) cases in Riverside County.
