Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse serves as a vital member of the patient care team, delivering competent care tailored to individual patient needs.

Coordinates patient care and delegates responsibilities to team members within their scope of practice and competencies.

You will be responsible for assessing patients upon admission to the unit and continuously according to patient needs, condition changes, or unit/department standards.
You will advocate for patient/family/SO regarding decisions impacting the Plan of Care.
You will develop, implement, and adjust the patient's plan of care based on their progress.
You will demonstrate knowledge of specific disease processes, treatments, interventions, and responses based on age specificity, patient needs, condition, impairment, or disability.
You will review physician orders and accurately transcribe to MAR, immediately initiating STAT orders.
You will assess, collaborate, report, and coordinate the patient's transfer or discharge planning needs and readiness for discharge or transfer to another level of care with other members of the healthcare team and the patient's family/SO.

What qualifications you will need:
Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
Current RN License by the Board of Nurse Examiners State of California
Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BCLS
Current American Heart Association ACLS
Dysrhythmia required
National RN Certification preferred
Minimum of one-year acute care hospital experience
Critical Care or Telemetry experience preferred
