- Position Summary
The Registration Specialist II plays a vital role in assisting patients during the registration and arrival process for both scheduled and unscheduled visits, while also handling financial clearance tasks. This role involves gathering accurate demographic and insurance information, as well as collecting patient liability when applicable at the time of service. The Registration Specialist II is also tasked with performing financial clearance functions for assigned scheduled accounts during registration downtimes. This individual is expected to greet and assist patients and internal team members in a professional, courteous, and respectful manner to foster positive interactions. Occasional travel between sites and extended hours may be necessary based on departmental needs.

- Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience
Preferred: 1-2 years of prior experience in registration
- Skills
Proficient computer and keyboarding skills
Exceptional customer service abilities and capacity to engage with the public and colleagues
Capability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
Adept at handling a high volume of interactions and urgent requests
Understanding of confidentiality requirements
