Job Title: Alarm Technician

Securitas Technology, a leading provider of integrated security solutions, is seeking a skilled Alarm Technician to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring the optimal performance of our security systems, and delivering innovative solutions to meet their evolving needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to trouble tickets to ensure seamless system operation and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with our team to diagnose and resolve complex system problems, leveraging your expertise in low voltage electronics and electronic security solutions.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to maximize system availability and identify potential faults, ensuring our customers' security and peace of mind.
  • Configure and document system modifications through our digital change control tracking system, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Develop high-quality technical documentation to describe system deployment concepts and quantitative aspects, catering to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Conduct thorough pre-deployment testing of upgrades and major modifications to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Install software upgrades and major modifications on-site, ensuring our customers' systems are always up-to-date and secure.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Familiarity with installing and troubleshooting low voltage equipment.
  • Strong working knowledge of commercial access control, CCTV, burglary alarm, intrusion systems, and fire alarms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of network communications and IP addressing.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Certifications in enterprise-grade CCTV and Access Control systems a plus.
