Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnosis and troubleshooting as needed on fire/security, card access, door entry, paging/sound, and other electronic systems.
  • Collaborate with ARK team members to effectively achieve company objectives in servicing systems according to accepted standards and practices.
  • Engage with customers regarding the significance, operation, and status of their life safety systems.
  • Operate and maintain the company vehicle.

Essential Skills and Abilities:

  • NICET certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Experience in installation and prior construction experience is beneficial.
  • Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting commercial low voltage systems.
  • Must possess a positive and respectful attitude to foster good working relationships with management, staff, vendors, and customers.
  • Competent computer skills.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • AA degree in electronics preferred, or equivalent technical/military training supplemented with 3-5 years of relevant industry experience is a plus.
  • Field electrical and/or electronic practical experience is required.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Able to obtain necessary security technician licenses as required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Physically capable of climbing overhead or crawling under spaces to complete tasks.
  • Must be willing to work at heights.
  • Must be able to operate electrical tools and a company vehicle.
  • Must be able to distinguish color coding of cables.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally.
