Alarm Services Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Alarm Services Coordinator to join our team at Vector Security and Vector Security Networks. As an Alarm Services Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient processing of alarm permits and false alarm fines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process False Alarm Fines: Receive and verify invoices, contact local jurisdictions to confirm dispatch, and process fines through our system.
  • Process Alarm Permits: Receive and process new alarm permit requests, verify jurisdictional requirements, and update our systems accordingly.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • 1-2 Years Industry Experience: Preferred, with knowledge of alarm systems, billing, ordinances, and jurisdictions.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Investigate duplicate invoices and partner with accounting to ensure accuracy.
  • Attention to Detail: Verify dispatch occurred before processing fines and contact AHJ if discrepancies arise.
  • Self-Motivated: Ability to make independent decisions and manage workload.
  • Team Oriented: Provide assistance across the team to ensure efficient processing of requests.
  • Customer Service Experience: Ability to interact with customers and provide efficient services.
