Job Summary

Kable Staffing is seeking a skilled Straddle Carrier Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating industrial straddle trucks to lift, transport, and position materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Industrial Straddle Trucks: Safely operate industrial straddle trucks to lift, transport, and position materials in accordance with established methods and procedures.
  • Maintain Staging and Storage Areas: Maintain staging and storage areas in a neat and orderly condition, storing materials according to alloy and size.
  • Transport Materials: Transport materials from department to department, following instructions to lift, transport, and position a variety of materials.
  • Maintain Equipment: Perform daily operator maintenance checks on equipment and maintain all logs related to these checks.
  • Follow Safety Regulations: Follow standard quality, quantity requirements, and safety regulations, including prescribed safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to move heavy and awkward loads with Straddle Carrier up to 165,000lb, walk, and stand for extended periods.
  • Reading and Rigging: Must be able to read tape measures and safely rig loads for transport.
  • Flexibility and Attention to Detail: Must be flexible to work where needed, self-motivated, and have attention to detail.
  • Manufacturing Background: Must have a manufacturing background or exposure and superior organizational skills.
  • Certifications: Must pass a forklift test.
