Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Payer Growth Leader to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in shaping our reputation with the largest payers in the country and driving our overall company strategy to ensure long-term success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to address payer partnerships holistically
  • Align partnership priorities with business goals by effectively managing resources
  • Manage an account team of at least 4 people
  • Influence complex situations to obtain desired outcomes through established relationships
  • Meet or exceed revenue goals
  • Design, implement, and direct strategic initiatives to drive profitable growth
Requirements
  • 15+ years of industry experience working at a health plan or employer
  • Extensive knowledge of navigating and working within the complexities of the healthcare industry
  • 10+ years of experience managing an account team
  • Ability to influence complex situations to obtain desired outcomes
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals
  • Understanding of the employer buying criteria for healthcare purchasing decisions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience closing and negotiating a contractor agreement, vendor agreement, or both
  • Navigating different functional areas within a health plan
  • The process of converting a deal into a contract
  • A track record of 2+ years with a company
