Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at King Street Oyster Bar. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning, directing, and coordinating of all restaurant operations and personnel management.
Key Responsibilities- Operations Management: Assist in the planning, directing, and coordinating of all restaurant operations, including food, beverages, staff supervision, inventory, and food safety.
- Staff Supervision: Monitor job performance, food and labor costs, budgets, and sales; labor payroll sheets.
- Training and Development: Train and mentor FOH employees, including orientation of all new staff.
- Financial Management: Understand General Ledger, knowledge of accounts/approved vendors, and maintain budgeted food and beverage cost.
- Marketing and Sales: Involved in increasing bar sales, produce cost-effective specials, and liquor ordering.
- Cash Handling: Handle cash transactions, comps, or voids, and amounts of cash.
- Inventory Management: Enter all invoices and maintain inventory levels.
- Scheduling: Create FOH schedules using 7Shifts.
- Customer Service: Maintain a positive attitude and professional approach to coworkers and customers.
- Strong Knowledge: Strong knowledge of front and back of house operations, including food, beverages, staff supervision, inventory, and food safety.
- Leadership Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead big groups of people.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of current experience as a Restaurant FOH Manager in a full-service concept.
