Hero Practice Services is in search of a Vision Technician to create a welcoming atmosphere by performing both administrative and optometric responsibilities that enhance each patient's visit within our Vision department.

The Opportunity :


This position offers a unique chance to assist the Heroes who are committed to enhancing the health and well-being of children and young people in our communities.


Your Responsibilities Will Include :
- Contacting patients for appointment confirmations, reminders, cancellations, and recalls.
- Collecting patient information and processing payments accurately during check-in and check-out.
- Assisting patients and their guardians during examinations, including pre-testing and supporting the Optometrist in documentation and selecting appropriate eyewear.
- Ensuring a clean, sterile, and patient-focused environment.
- Adhering to all relevant regulations and compliance standards (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, ADA).

Qualifications Required :
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of one year in an administrative or customer service role.
- Experience in optometry is preferred, but comprehensive training will be provided.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to professional development.
- Strong organizational abilities and a solid understanding of optometry.
