- Diagnose movement dysfunction and create effective treatment plans to restore patients' function and alleviate pain.
- Teach patients how to properly use therapeutic exercise techniques to promote healing and prevent disabilities.
- Provide stimulation and exercise programs to help patients regain their strength and mobility.
- Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and ensure that they are providing high-quality care to our patients.
- Assess and interpret patient evaluations and test results to inform treatment decisions.
- Create personalized fitness-oriented healthcare programs for patients to help them achieve their goals.
- Advise patients on exercise techniques and provide guidance on how to maintain their physical health.
- Develop strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Work independently and as part of a team to provide comprehensive care to our patients.
- Complete point of service documentation accurately and efficiently to ensure that patient records are up-to-date.
- Provide group and concurrent therapy as scheduled to meet the needs of our patients.
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in New Mexico or proof of license and eligibility.
- Appropriate Doctorate degree (or equivalent) in Occupational Therapy or a qualifying Occupational Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. that has been evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Occupational Therapy.
