The Storeroom Clerk is a critical member of our food production team, responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing food and beverage items in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and store food products and supplies in a timely and accurate manner.
- Audit incoming shipments and packing slips for quality and accuracy.
- Identify and refer inaccurate or unacceptable shipments to management.
- Communicate substitution information with the department supervisor and manager.
- Assist with maintaining food production systems and waste tracking.
- Ensure appropriate product labeling and dating is maintained.
- Establish and maintain order in the dry storage areas, food and non-food, as well as the coolers and freezers.
- Assist in the physical count of all inventory items.
- Conduct daily/weekly audits of storage areas and nourishment rooms.
- Work extra shifts and hours as required.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal directions.
- Must have strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and frequently lift, push, pull, or carry up to 30 lbs.
- Must be able to walk and stand for extended time periods, up to 6 hours.
- Requires repetitive motion.
- Required working with chemicals, heated equipment, and steam.
