Your Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Pastry Chef, you will:
- Oversee daily operations alongside the pastry team, ensuring timely and efficient preparation of food items in line with Accor standards.
- Conduct daily briefings with pastry team members to align on tasks and expectations.
- Manage food costs and production processes to minimize waste.
- Provide guidance and training to the pastry team in food preparation and event execution.
- Assist in the creation of menus, recipes, and training materials to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Uphold all Accor standards, training staff on menu items and cooking techniques.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to food safety protocols.
- Ensure proper product rotation in chillers to prevent spoilage.
- Follow safety and sanitation policies when handling food.
- Prepare, cook, plate, and present food items.
- Apply 5 Diamond and 5 Star Service Standards consistently.
