Dae Sung, LLC is seeking a skilled General Maintenance Mechanic to provide operation and mechanical maintenance services at a Federal Building in Montpelier, VT. The working schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years' experience performing general maintenance and repair of equipment requiring practical skill and knowledge in trades such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Replace electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors.
  • Use plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings.
  • Repair or replace sinks, water coolers, and toilets.
  • Paint floors, steps, and sidewalks.
  • Replace damaged paneling and floor tiles.
  • Hang doors and install locks.
  • Replace broken window panes and perform general maintenance on equipment and machinery.
Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED required. Experience in commercial HVAC repair and maintenance of mechanical building systems, including PMs, routine service calls, and overall facility maintenance, is highly desired.
